Corn is king at this annual festival in Plattsmouth each September. There is a corn-eating contest, quilt show, carnival, photo contest, karaoke, food, music and much more. The corn royalty coronation has been popular since 1935 when Harrison Gayer and Lois Troop Bester were crowned Corn King and Corn Queen.
