Springfield Days

Springfield Days will be bigger than ever this year as the community celebrates Nebraska’s sesquicentennial. Ice cream and runza-eating contests, a grand parade, and vendors will return to downtown. Special for this year, there will also be a pie parlor, bingo, children’s activities and 1860s-era craft projects like yarn dolls. The Cherokee Ridge Runners, a living history group, will put on demonstrations and reenactments.
