Sunken Gardens

Christopher Amundson
Lincoln’s Sunken Gardens bloom with more than 30,000 annuals planted to represent a different theme each year. Its walking trail and multiple gardens offers 1.5 acres of lush solitude that can be enjoyed all year round. Visitors are welcome to help prepare the site for winter each autumn with its Putting the Beds to Bed event. A similar workday takes place in mid-May to wake up the beds.
