The Rose Theater is the premier place for children and families to experience performing arts in Omaha. The former movie palace is named after Rose Blumkin, founder of Nebraska Furniture Mart, who saved its unique Moorish and Classical architecture from a date with the wrecking ball. The Omaha Theater Company performs whimsical productions of childhood classics and new favorites annually. Pre-show hands-on exploration and post-show Q&A sessions make every visit memorable and educational.
