President Gerald R. Ford Birthsite and Gardens honors the country’s 38th President. Born Leslie King Jr. in Omaha, Ford later moved with his mother to Grand Rapids, Michigan, and was adopted and renamed. His grandparents’ ornate Victorian home was lost to a fire, but the site now includes a portico that resembles the West Wing and a rose garden dedicated to his wife, Betty.
