Heritage Arboretum
Fremont became a college town when Midland University was founded in 1883. Today 1,300 students from 37 states and 11 foreign countries study here. The liberal arts college’s Heritage Arboretum includes 700 trees. Most of them are marked and available as part of a self-guided tour.
