Funk Federal Waterfowl Protection Area

The Funk Federal Waterfowl Protection Area is a magnet for birds and birdwatchers. It is better known as Funk Lagoon. Endangered whooping cranes are seen here regularly in the spring along with dozens of other species large and small all year long. From the southwest edge of Funk follow the signs north.
