Downtown Norfolk

Downtown Norfolk, called Riverpoint, is an up-and-coming part of the city, with recent cityscape projects and a selection of restaurants, shops, art galleries and retail stores. Music plays over speakers along Norfolk Avenue and foot traffic is brisk. Among the businesses is the publishing headquarters of Nebraska Life Magazine, which is open for tours of its circa 1920 restored building. Ask about Sybil, the two-headed calf.

Look for the Johnny Carson mural painted on a building across the street from the popular Downtown Coffee Co. If you time it right you just might see the local resident who juggles while riding his unicycle down the street.
